I like to write, and have written many poems, short stories, articles, and papers. Some have even been published! Everyone who has read any of my writings say that I am good, but since I'm a very humble person, I'll let you be the judge of that. WARNING! This is copyrighted material, so please don't snag and use any of this without my express permission. It is not only a disservice to me, and to my host, but to YOU as well! Thanks--now, enjoy!
Fall Go Boom--A short narrative that I wrote for a college writing class a few years ago. I got an A for my efforts, so, I must admit that I'm proud of this little gem.
Our Homes, Not Nursing Homes--This is a causation paper that I wrote a few years ago in college. Er, I also got an A on this one, so I decided to save it.
War--A call to action that I wrote back in July of 2002. This was published in a national disability rights newsletter. I write about 95% of the letters, flyers, articles, and the like for Colorado ADAPT.
Viva Spartania--A turn-based story I wrote based on a strategy game that I play. I was involved in a succession game with some friends over the Internet. Each person would play a few turns of the game, then, e-mail the file to the next person, who'd play a few turns, and so on until the game was finished. We each had to post a story about our game. My story was a big hit on the gaming site!
Viva Spartania 2--The adventure continues as I play my second round in the game a couple of weeks later. This story was also a hit.
The Colorado ADAPT Guide To Surviving A Vigil--This is a guide that I wrote in August of 2002 at the request of the leadership of ADAPT. It gives instructions on how to plan and survive a protest or vigil using nonviolent, peaceful methods. The Guide was sent out to every ADAPT chapter in the country.
Pains Of Life--A rather personal position paper that I wrote a few years ago. The instructor was impressed, and I got an A+ for my work.
And The Steps Came Tumbling Down--An article that I wrote back in 2000 for Incitement, ADAPT's newsletter. This newsletter goes out to ADAPT members all over the world! Excepts from this article appears in a book called "Voices of A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn and Anthony Arnove.
The Battle Of HCPF--A partial diary that I wrote about a two week vigil that ADAPT sustained back in July, 2002.
It
Pays To Support Independence--I was honored to be asked by The Greeley
Tribune to be a guest columnist. This article appeared in the Tribune on
June 1, 2003.
