Hi there, and welcome to Mum's Neck Of The Woods! This is where you'll meet my mum, Alice Faye, and my Popz, Rick. You'll like them because they're cool people! Mum likes cats, sewing, and the Internet, and Popz, before his heart attack, was the handyman around the house, and he liked to cook, draw, and create beautiful woodcrafts. My Mum and Popz live in the mountains. They live in Empire Junction, Colorado, which is about 60 miles from where I live. It is very beautiful up there, and there's plenty of wildlife to be seen!

Meet Popz!

Here is Popz and his doctor, Stuart
Ferguson. Dr. Ferguson is my doc as
well. 4 years ago, my Popz had a massive
heart attack, and anoxic brain injury.
He went without oxygen to his brain for
11 minutes! He is doing much better health-
wise, but the brain injury left him severely
disabled, and a totally different person. I
pray that with lots of help, and therapy,
Popz will come back to us, because he
is such a neat person, and he's still in there,
somewhere!

Here's Mum with my big brother, Carl, sister-in-law, Cathy,
