Hi! Come on in and check out the cool pics and stories from the Free Our People March. Most of these photos were taken by me, but I want to thank Tim Wheat, Tom Olin, and Mike McCarty for letting me use their pics, and I'd like to thank Lopeti (Levi), Barry, Kevin, Rasheeda, Lori, Katy, and Lowell for doing me the favor of taking some pics with my camera so that I could at least have some photos with me in them!
Day 1--Thursday, September 4, 2003.

Tim
Wheat took this one of us lining up to march to the

We
passed through many residential areas while on the March.
Here
we are going through one such area just outside of Philadelphia.
ADAPT
members didn't miss a chance to speak with, and to educate
people
about our March, and about MiCASSA. People were very
supportive
of us, and were surprised that people with disabilities
could,
and would do what we were doing.
Mike
McCarty took this one of my good buddies Lopeti and Kay, from Utah.
Today, two people had birthdays--Babs, and Bernard, who will join us in Baltimore.
Our
first camp was in a church in Glenolden, PA. Dinner was Chinese food from
the Lucky Dragon. It was quite good, but I was very tired, and strangely
depressed. Perhaps it was the fact that since I'd left Colorado, every
day had been rainy or dreary, and I'd had my fill. I didn't get to bed
until quite late, but at least I slept reasonably well. Fortunately, I
was feeling better by the next day.
